Two Friends,
One Dream.
Le Petit Paris began as a promise between two lifelong friends, Anthony Le Mezec and Julien Khalaf, who met at school in France over twenty years ago. As teenagers, they dreamed of opening a bakery together one day — they even picked the name "Le Petit Paris" before they'd ever left home. Culinary school, careers on two sides of the pastry world, and a shared move to New York followed, but the dream never faded.
Today, that dream lives in Kew Gardens. Our croissants and baguettes are hand-rolled with French butter at our Long Island City kitchen each morning, while everything else — from our signature Flankie to our seasonal tarts — is prepared fresh in-house. It's a little corner of France, built on twenty years of friendship.
